Flying From Above flew through the field to claim a home-track win, courtesy of a great Siena Grima ride. The field fanned out on the turn and just at it looked as though Siena would have to fly from above, literally, a gap opened to the inside and she pointed and shot through it to prevail in a tight finish. We were confident he’d run well today out to 1500m on the back of his last start, also at Hawkesbury, over the seven furlongs, and the Pierata gelding didn’t disappoint.
